Welcome Rocket City Fans! Memorial Day looms ever nearer, and we are gearing up to bring you the best convention possible. Now that pre-registration is open and the hotel reservation page is up, you can go ahead and plan your whole trip to Huntsville right now! Pre-registration saves you time and money. You'll be able to zip through the registration line faster than ever. Heck, we may just come seek YOU out, giving you your badge and conbook before a minute even passes in line!

We have more varied panels and more mingle space than last year, as we get our footing in the new hotel for the second year. Very soon, our event schedule, found on the website, will start filling with panels, activities, and live shows for your entertainment. Stay tuned to the RCFM website (http://www.rcfm.net/) for the latest event updates! Just remember, contents are subject to settling in transit!

We are so happy to have our GoH's, Robert King and Xian Jaguar, coming this year. Xian Jaguar is desiging our Sponsor T-Shirt, and I already know it is going to look awesome. Both Guests will be hosting panels relevant to their fields, and their vast and storied experience within furry is not to be missed!

Boosters are going to be pleased this year. As usual, you get the star treatment. And the "Booster goodies" this year are looking very neat! I can't tell you everything you are going to get, but I can tell you one thing - one piece of your Booster swag will be collectible, unique, and you'll want to cache it away!

Come to Rocket City Furmeet, where we celebrate pandas, tigers, tanukis, kitsune, and other animals of the Far East in this year's theme - Lucky 8!

Hey Furs! This is Sabrina, AKA DJ Sabby Tabby comin' at ya live (sorta) to tell you about the great stuff we have in the works for the dances this year at RCFM - Lucky 8! This year we're trying some new things, and build on what already works to crank the dances to 11 and bring you a fantastic musical experience! This year I'm taking the reigns as the Head DJ for RCFM, and I've got a lot of ideas to make this an awesome weekend of musical awesomesauce! New for this year is the addition of a "themed" music set to match the Con Theme of "Lucky 8," so we'll have a full two hours of Chinese, Japanese and Korean pop and techno music to move your feet to; as always we plan to have a fursuit friendly dance, a set of techno/rave flavored music to swing your glowsticks at, and of course, RCFM's Dead Dog Sunday of all the best 80's and classic rock and popular hits you can shake a tail feather to!

We've got all three nights lined up for music and dancing, so be sure to keep your nights open and come on down to hoof it under the mirror ball!
