We will be at the beautiful and friendly Radisson Suite Hotel again for RCFM Deep Six! Almost all of the rooms in the hotel are mini-suites, meaning they consist of two separate rooms with closing doors between and a "living room", with sofa and TV, in addition to the regular bedroom. A few of the rooms are larger suites but they are limited in number and most of the suites are reserved rooms for Meet space - so get your reservations in early! They also all have a bar-sink, microwave, small refrigerator, and a second TV in the bedroom. The hotel has a choice of double beds or Queen size beds, and also a choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms. The RCFM reserve block price for 2008 will be $79 per room, per night, plus tax.

Making Reservations
Our room block is now available for online booking! You can also call the hotel and reserve a room in the RCFM room block at our convention rate, if you don't want to do it online. Be sure to ask the desk clerk for the "RCFM room block".
  • Option One: -The Web-
    Make a reservation directly on the hotel's website at http://www.radisson.com/rcfm2008.

    * Important Notes for ONLINE reservations!*

    • When reserving a room from the web, please select "STE1" in the 'rate' menu box that says "Select rate...". Suite room types "4" and "5" are not available, as they are convention spaces. ("STE2" simply has a data glitch on it's reservations dates, but it really doesn't make any difference. The rooms are all mini-suites, whether "1" or "2".)
    • Update! - The Radisson online reservation system has been updated to include room reservations at the RCFM room rate from May 20th to May 28th! The RCFM room rate of $79 per night is now applicable from the Tuesday before RCFM (the 21st) to the Wednesday after (the 28th).
  • Option Two: -The Phone-
    Call the front desk of the Radisson Suite Hotel at 256-882-9400 or Central Reservations at 800-333-3333 and reserve your room with the help of a reservations agent. Be sure to ask for the "RCFM room block".

A few other items to note regarding room reservations:

  • First - you have until May 20th to make a reservation and receive the Meet's special rate.
  • Second - all reservations must be accompanied with a major credit card or by a first night room deposit. The hotel will not hold any reservations after 6:00 p.m. unless secured by one of these methods.
  • Finally - this rate is now good from the Tuesday before the Meet (May 20th) to the Wednesday after (May 28th), in case you want to come early and/or sleep in after the convention. Please note that The Radisson Suite Hotel does not guarantee bed-type in the convention group block. The bed-type is by request only and will be assigned upon check-in.
